This position is a support resource for our customers, field sales, customer service, and engineering. Focal areas are technical support, conducting feasibility studies, Supporting the sales staff in pre-sales efforts. The Automation Specialist will also assist in trade shows and tech presentations as needed.

Daily Duties:

• Support and help coordinate training classes both in house and onsite.
  • Assist instructor as required.
  • Develop skills to become instructor
• Accept inbound customer and sales inquiries on product selection from the sales team.
• Accept and fulfill inbound quote support requests from customer and sales staff.
• Pre-sales engineering/technical support including product selection and cross referencing.
• Develop, setup and program robotic and vision feasibility studies.
• Assist field sales staff with onsite technical demos.
• Preform onsite trouble shooting and warranty support as required.
• Coordinate and assure completeness of ACS event calendar.
• Develop rapport with customers as technical, competent resource for answering and delivering solutions.
• Participate in activities such as specific training programs aimed at developing product and selling skills.
• Special Projects – Develop and coordinate as directed.
